Number of persons on board
Introduction/Additional information:
This message should be sent by inland vessels only, to inform about the number of persons (passengers, crew, shipboard personnel) on board. The message should be sent with binary message 6 preferably on event or on request using IAI binary functional message 2.
Alternatively the Standard IMO binary message “number of persons on board” (IAI number 16) could be used.
