Canadian Coast Guard IALA S-100 Workshop
From 29 January to 2 February and a workshop known as the IALA VTS intersessional workshop meeting on S-100 was held at the Canadian Coast Guard base in Quebec City, with working participants from eight countries, including Canada.
All participants were satisfied with the meetings and the warm welcome of the Canadian Coast Guard.
The task group was able to learn from CCG expertise on S-100 product specification development for a better understanding of the steps which need to be taken to develop S-210, S-212 and related technical services.
The task group reviewed existing guidelines and procedures and provided recommendations for future developments.
Participants were from Japan, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Finland, and Canada.
