Progress on the IGO Status

Following the Diplomatic Conference held in February 2020 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the Convention on the International Organization for Marine Aids to Navigation has been made available in 6 languages (Arabic, Chinese, French, English, Russian, Spanish). France, the host country of the organization and depositary of the convention, has issued a communication aimed at explaining the process for signing the convention and five countries have already signed (France, The Netherlands, Singapore, Malaysia, Norway). Singapore is the first country to have also ratified the convention. See the IGO page for more information.

Ms Oda Helen Sletnes, Ambassador of Norway to France has signed the Convention on the International Organization for Marine Aids to Navigation on 22 March 2021.
