Any radiation capable of causing a visual sensation directly.
Note: The limits of the spectral range of visible radiation are not well-defined and may vary according to the user.
The lower limit is generally taken between 380 and 400 nm and the upper limit between 760 and 780 nm.
1 nanometre (nm) = 10-9m = 1 millimicron.
